WEATHER: SUNNY THE FIRST DAY – CLOUDY AND RAINY THE OTHER TWO DAYS

FOOD: DELICIOUS (ROAST BEEF AND POTATOES in a typical English restaurant)

THINGS BOUGHT:  A MAGNET FOR MY MUM AND A POSTER FOR MY DAD

MONEY SPENT: 500 POUNDS  

PLACES VISITED:

On 1st day _Madame Tussaud’s wax museum -Packed Lunch in Hyde Park - Free shopping in Oxford street

ON 2nd day  -The river Thames on a boat trip -  Westminster Abbey (it has been the location of the coronations of British monarchs and a burial site  for British monarchs), the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben(are the centre of government. Big Ben is the bell inside the clock tower)- 10 Downing street (it is where the Prime Minster lives) – the Tower Bridge and the Tower of London( is famous as a historic prison – you can see the Crown jewels and the Beefeaters –the guards) The London Eye (a panoramic wheel-

On 3rd day-  Buckingham Palace (the official residence of the Royal family – The changing of the guard is a famous sight), Piccadilly Circus a famous square , Covent Garden (a shopping place with stalls and  street performers) Trafalgar square (has a column in the centre with a statue of Lord Nelson) The National Gallery (contains a world famous collection of paintings) The British Museum (with its huge collection of antiquities)
